In a face recognition time attendance, this phenomenon is often seen than the one mentioned above. Many times, genuine people may not be recognized by the application. There can be several reasons behind like the individual may be wearing black glasses or they may not pose properly before the camera. This may cause inconvenience to the individual and to the firm. FRR is one of the reasons facial detection is not given priority in the Aadhar project initiated by the Government of India.
Privacy is at Stake
People may be reluctant to give their biometric details. It can be misused. People having access to this data may use it for wrong purposes. Identity theft may become easy with the storage of such data for long. Besides, storing biometric details of an individual for long with little use is an invasion to their privacy.
